Do you want Guardian? I'd also include mastering the set dungeon. The set dungeon is a whole different beast in itself and there's typically one set per class that has super easy set dungeon. It's the DHs ability to speed clear rifts as well as do the other requirements that sets it apart for solo. For getting the stash tab asap, I wouldn't touch Monk, Wiz or Sader since their haedrig's gift requires very specific complimentary weapons and legendary items to be effective, severely limiting effectiveness to quickly jump to T10 farming.
Well, in my opinion "finishing the journey" also includes the set dungeon. You wouldn't do the solo GR push with your Haedrig's set in S8 none of the Haedrig's Gifts can be considered "easiest" for solo GR pushes so you have to farm another set anyways.
Interestingly, for all but monk the Haedrig's Gift in S8 might end up being the easiest or one of the easiest set dungeons. For all classes but monk U6 the set offers a ridiculously easy set dungeon. On the other hand, monk is the only class that can be both support and DPS in group, which makes it very versatile and sought-after in group play. On the other hand, if I were to do so, I wonder how the classes compare? I tried to do some research on "T10 farming builds" for each of those sets, and it looks like none of those is really easy to setup.
Good comments, as always, Bagstone. I am undecided too on S8. A Wave of Light Monk is probably in the top 3 builds for sheer farming speed, and I have not done him in awhile. So fun and a simple rotation. I don't know how many of you have been playing since the free sets started but I've been keeping a list of Hedrig's Gift for every Gayromeo desktop classic. Seeker of the Light is really good for solo rifts and GR's, you have one of the highest survivability as well as a decent amount of damage to go with it.
However this set doesn't really have much going for it past GR81, in order to even make this set work you need FurnaceORoZ and Unity. Spirit of Arachyr is really good with speed runs for bounties in T13 utilizing chickens and firebats called the angry chicken build. This set is also good for support roles, Pfeil ziel highest GR is in the 50's area without help. Ah yes, the set dumgeon, it is indeed a wicked curve on the road to completing SJ.
Been a pita to me since S5 until S7, when I planned at the start how to beat it. Getting a starter I've never finished with it, for reasons Bagstone outlines set that is a simple setD is just gravy. I'd say it does rather well up to the low 90s Having solved the setD problem for S7, I got to encounter the other Journey 'curve', the speedrifts.
A lot of incentive to go DH if just around for a stash tab should speed be a need again. Thanks to all for an enjoyable read! Very good summary. And yes, if you read previous posts in this thread you'll realize that we all have played all previous seasons and deduced the sets from that, this is what the thread is about. I like how you elaborate on the sets for each class - just one Ps vita facebook to keep in mind: However - for GR solo pushing the starter set doesn't matter.
I'm actually completely reconsidering my choice: I thought before "the last class I'm gonna play is monk because it might take the longest". So I'm thinking to play either barb or, even better, monk, for offering this support that we lacked. Didn't go WD last season as I wanted to play something I normally didn't play. Sooooo I went Monk. WD Season 8 https: Monk season 7 http: Me worry?
So to summarize this discussion, every class except crusader is good for this purpose. I see I am not alone in my 'lack of passion' for the cursed set dungeons. I took WD for S7 as hadn't played that class in over a year. WD no set was also very simple. I also base the choice on 2 or possibly 3 of the conquests.
S8 is a first for me to do all of them with WD. S5 I chose Wizard, ended up rolling a Crusader just to do the 45no set challenge and Invoker set dungeon. Just went for the stash and retired back to NS. S6 chose Barb and DH for the kills at chest conquest. This season played out better, stayed right to the end.
S7 chose WD based on comments for the Diablofans com dungeon being easy. Found the whole journey was rather enjoyable, for the first time. In Check nvidia driver version linux the end as well. This being said, we do not know what or if equipment will be updated.
Hoping not too much of a surprise. DiabloFans was shut down on March 21st, You're viewing a read-only version of the site. Thank you for your patronage throughout the years!

Quote from Bagstone. So after all, again, I wouldn't base my choice on the Haedrig's set.
